I’ve poured everything into this project since I started recording my debut double album. This 2+ year journey took me away from short-form viral content and into my basement studio — where I’ve been quietly building something I believe in.

Between sessions, I’ve been raising a toddler and a baby girl, juggling life with nearly no childcare… all while my lack of “content” pushes me toward irrelevance. It hasn’t been easy — but I’ve never felt more connected to the music I’m making, because I’m in the thick of real life’s ups & downs.

For the record (pun intended), I did almost all of the instrumentation, production, recording, and editing myself. The rest? Carefully outsourced to speed things along or to bring in real strings, real drums, talented co-producers, auxiliary editors, and the best mastering engineer in the world to finalize the songs.

As of April 1, 2025, I’ve spent $14,793.80 across the full double album.

(Not counting video content, ads, distribution costs, etc.)

Because I’m doing most of the work myself, that’s actually nothing compared to the $2K–$3K per song that a non-self-producing artist would be facing.

If you spread that cost over 28 songs...

...you get an average cost of $528.35 per song.
